Position Overview:
Kenyon International seeks driven and enthusiastic graduates to join our Graduate Internship Programme. This program is designed to provide practical experience and a solid foundation for career growth in various aspects of the oil and gas industry. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals, gain industry insights, and make meaningful contributions to ongoing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure equipment is functioning efficiently and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
- Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures in line with company and industry standards.
- Participate in site inspections and audits to ensure operational compliance.
- Assist in the preparation of operational reports, manuals, and documentation.
- Support project teams in the planning and execution of maintenance, repairs, and other operational tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, and HSE departments to ensure smooth workflow and project delivery.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing operational efficiency and reducing downtime.
- Assist the operation department in carrying out equipment installation, repair, maintenance, and testing tasks on-site as per procedure.
- Produce timely and detailed service reports.
- Participate in workshop activities.
- Follow all company’s operational procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Sc./HND in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Petroleum Engineering, and Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented with a strong ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Solid understanding of safety management practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
